In life we often don’t get a choice with the cards we are dealt; however, we do have a choice in how we respond. In light of our unborn daughter’s health issues, we saw the “BRAVE” bracelets as a beautiful reminder to trust in God’s promises that all things work for good for those that love him. The bracelets were and continue to be a symbol of our trust in God through a difficult and unknown situation and the beauty he can bring out of it all.

On days when I’m not feeling so “brave”, I look down and remember Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” But most days when I look down and see it, I’m just reminded at how good God has been to me and how BRAVE he truly makes his children!

Ahava cuffs are not only a beautiful piece of jewelry but more importantly a powerful and constant reminder of whatever I need most in the season of life I’m currently walking through. These cuffs have inspired me to “be the change” as I ventured to Africa for the first time since becoming a mom. They have reminded me to trust that “Christ is enough” as I’ve waited on God for some unanswered prayers in my life and also to “breathe; perfect love casts out all fear” when doubt or stress begins to creep into my heart and mind. I can’t think of a more beautiful and simple way to remind myself of truth I want and need to live by.

The wraps/bracelets I have purchased through Ahava Design have great value to me for several reasons. First, these pieces have been tangible reminders of God’s invaluable Word and promises. I have given them as gifts to the special people in my life so they can recall and truly “put on the Word of God.” Moreover, it has been a gift of unity in our walk with the Lord. But most importantly, I love that Jessica handmakes each one. I know she puts love and attention to each piece. I value that she prays for those who will wear them. I have actually looked forward to what the Lord will have me wear as a reminder of His promise to me in the New Year.

Hey, dear! I got my Brave wrap in the mail today. It came in just in time! 🙂 Mother’s Day is always really tough for me because my mother left when I was 8. I’m 23 now and I’ve not seen her since then. So I was pretty down this morning, until I checked my mail and The Lord used you to remind me that I am his and I am BRAVE! 🙂

Last weekend I got my certification as an Aerobic Walk Leader. Which in itself is a miracle because 18 months ago I was in so much pain with fibromyalgia and OA, I couldn’t take a step without being in pain! And through prayer, Leslie Sansone DVD’s, healthy eating, losing 30 lbs., and yoga – I’m now a certified teacher! So GOD GETS THE GLORY! I saw your beautiful bracelets and thought I’d treat myself to one! Thought I’d have it say, “Walk Strong.” Or ” Walk Healthy.” Just wasn’t sure… Woke up last night out of a sound sleep with the Spirit whispering to me, “How about WALK HUMBLY.” I tell you, I didn’t think of that one on my own! My beautiful bracelet came this afternoon. I LOVE IT. Thank you so much for taking the time to make it extra special for me… You are a treasure. I will be reminded of the Spirit’s direction to Walk Humbly as I begin to teach my aerobic classes. Wish you lived in VA and you could come to a class….
